Description What it is NEXGARD SPECTRA® offers broad spectrum control of parasites that attack dogs in a single tasty chew. This updated version of NEXGARD® Chewables combines two Active Ingredients to treat and prevent internal and external parasites including flea and tick infestations, heartworm and intestinal worms. Who it's for All breeds and puppies from 8 weeks of age and 2kg or more (4lbs). Dosage Prescription (RX) needed No Dosage Given orally every 30 days, at the recommended Dosage of 2.5 - 5 mg/kg of Afoxolaner and 0.5 - 1 mg/kg of Milbemycin Oxime. Do not re-administer NEXGARD SPECTRA® before the month is through. Active Ingredients Afoxolaner 37.5mg / Milbemycin oxime 7.5mg Usage Talk to your vet about other medications and supplements your dog is taking Ensure your dog eats the entire chew, it can be administered with or without food Ensure your dog eats the entire chew, it can be administered with or without food IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION: The most common side effects (affecting inbetween 1 to 10 animals in 1,000 animals) were vomiting, diarrhoea, lack of energy, decreased appetite, and itching, which generally were short-lived and resolved spontaneously. Because fleas and ticks must start feeding on the dog in order to be killed by the medicine, there may be a risk of transmission of diseases with which they may be infected. Accidental ingestion of afoxolaner can be harmful to children. To avoid accidental ingestion administer the chewable to the dog immediately after removal from the package. Keep out of reach of children. People handling the medicine should wash hands after ahandling the product.
