Excellent “El Toro” sandwich at Phil’s BBQ in Rancho Bernardo! A heaping mound of tender, flavorful deli sliced tri-tip, char-grilled and topped with BBQ sauce. It helps to eat about half the beef with a fork before attempting to pick up this behemoth.
