The PO-20 arcade features 16 synthesis-based video games, consoles and chip tune sounds that are controlled via the integrated step sequencer. The pocket synthesizers of the Swedish cult forge Teenage Engineering do not have a housing, so all components and the circuit board are directly visible and part of the design. Power is supplied by 2 standard (AAA) micro batteries.

The device can not only produce complete music tracks and sound effects, but is also capable of MIDI, CV, & trigger track sequencing, image & 3D graphic sequencing, and DMX light sequencing. All 16 tracks can run independently, allowing for individual track speed and length.
