As Saint Laurent's creative director, Anthony Vaccarello tapped into the brand's musical heritage and introduced new lifestyle products. By taking this approach, the fashion house made its first foray into hip-hop through its partnership with12on12. Vaccarello picked Travis Scott to curate an exclusive playlist that included Kanye West, Cardi B, Bon Iver, and James Blake. Additionally, he created a vinyl jacket crafted from Saint Laurent leather and lined with red suede.
There were only 500 copies made of this 180gm vinyl record by Travis Scott and Saint Laurent. Travis Scott curated it under the artistic direction of Saint Laurent's creative director Anthony Vaccarello. Records are packaged in Saint Laurent's signature black leather jacket with a red suede interior. The curated twelve tracks include Kanye West, James Blake, Frank Ocean, and Bon Iver and in the liner notes, Travis Scott writes, May Saint Laurent and Cactus Jack dance together forever.
